Seeing just how many major updates Hello Games puts out for No Man's Sky every single year, all while having no microtransactions whatsoever, is in absolute triumph! This is live service done correctly.

Their original vision was hindered I think by what they first showed and then initial release but they've put in the work to make the game great and due to that people are still buying it. I keep thinking of going back to honour their work they put in but alas, I find it too tiresome at the start. :P I'll stick to Elite where I have a ship and am in space already... even if Frontier have abandoned consoles.

I have to applaud Hello Games redemption arc. applauds

This is a game that gone from overhype to underdeliver flop bomb back to greatfulness.
